Beheaded Totem is the second album by an enigmatic ensemble from Porto, Hhy & the Macumbas. It continues a long investigation into percussion, circular rhythms, dub strategies, and horns coming from the alcohol-fuelled Portuguese marching bands, nights and drags, leading us straight into the damp caves of our minds.
